Governance Events

The progress of e-Government in India has been uneven across the regions. Except for a few states most states are in a very early stage of adopting e-Governance. At some place a weak infrastructure to support the development of e-Government or clarity about legal and policy environment, as well as human capacity to design and implement e-Government applications are the roadblocks .

egov India 2009 provides a platform for all stakeholders - policy makers, practitioners, industry leaders, academicians and architects of e-Government projects to share the achievements, challenges and lessons learned in implementing e-Governance. egov India 2009 is fifth in the series of the annual eINDIA event. Along with the conference, the exhibition will be a forum to showcase best practices, innovative technologies and ICT solutions.
